PG10 are celebrating their success after they took part in the 32nd Welsh International Super Cup in Cardiff hosted by Team Tours Direct.

The junior event has seen top professional footballers such as Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler, Tomas Rosicky, Andrei Shevchenko, Owen Hargreaves and Shay Given grace the tournament.

PG10 had more than 15 teams participating in the tournament aged between under-6 to youth level which saw them play more than 80 fixtures against sides from across the UK and the world.

PG10's Youth team were the winners of their age group winning 3-2 in the final.

The other PG10 teams, which included the under-6, under-7, under-8, under-9, under-10 and under-11 teams, played in non-competitive festivals scoring more than 245 goals and shining throughout and catching the attention of a number of professional football scouts.

The under-13s played in a competitive tournament and celebrated a successful and enjoyable week. In the end the side lost to Maltese team Melita Nursery in the semi-final.

PG10 also entered the English Super Cup held in Manchester where the under-11 side shone and reached the final of the competition losing to a strong Manchester team 3-2.

Peter Griffiths of PG10 said: "The first few week's of the summer holidays has been action packed and a fantastic experience for all the kids.

"I cannot thank players, parents and coaches enough for their support. To play in such a unique tournament which has seen top professionals such as Gerrard, Fowler and Owen play in it, is priceless to aid our player's development and ensure they enjoy themselves playing football.

"The tournament has set the tone for the season ahead as we travel to Rome, LA Galaxy, Dubai Malaga FC and Ajax FC".
