IF YOU have been inspired by Great Britain's Olympic ladies hockey team, then training for Penarth Hockey Club starts in September.
Penarth boasts two of the premier and most successful hockey clubs in Wales with Penarth men's and ladies' hockey clubs.
Both clubs welcome new and returning hockey players of any age so, if you or your daughter or son fancy trying out this team sport, training takes place at Stanwell School on Tuesdays (ladies) and Wednesdays (men) from September, sticks are provided.
The ladies youth trains from 6.15-7.15pm and the seniors from 7.15-8.15pm.
On Wednesday the youth train from 6.15-7.15pm and the seniors from 7-8.15pm.
Also on Wednesday (WIS) youth 10 plus and senior 3rd XI train from 6-7pm and the senior 1st and 2nd XIs from 7-8pm.
