Anglers on Penarth Pier
PENARTH Sea Angling held their second Christmas competition on Sunday, December 4.
In first place was Val Willmott who caught two codling on the pier weighing 5lb 14oz.
Second was Jacob Mills with two codling from the beach weighing 4lb 7oz.
Dave Adams came in third with two whiting on the pier weighing 2lb 1/2oz.
Fourth went to Fred Chick with a codling from the beach at 1lb 4 1/2oz.
The third Christmas competition will be held on Sunday, December 18, fishing from the pier and beach from 8am until noon.
