Anglers on Penarth Pier
PENARTH Sea Angling held their final Christmas competition of the year on Sunday, December 18.
In first place was Rob Galley with six whiting from the pier weighing 4lb 9oz.
Next was Colin Boagey with a 2lb 6 1/2oz from the beach.
Third went to Adam armer with a 1lb 8 1/2oz codling from the beach.
Finally in fourth place was Fred Chick with a 1lb 4oz codling from the beach.
The first competition of 2017 will be held on Sunday, January 8, fishing from the pier and beach from 1pm to 5pm.
