Anglers on Penarth Pier
PENARTH Sea Angling held their latest competition on Sunday, January 8.
First place went to Ray Starling with two conger eels weighing 6lb 10 1/2oz.
Mike Sullivan was second with three whiting weighing 2lb 2 1/2oz.
Third was John Cameron with two whiting weighing 1lb 12 1/2oz.
In fourth was Joe Deandrade with two whiting weighing 1lb 11oz.
The next competition is on Sunday, January 22, fishing from the pier and beach from 12.30pm to 4.30pm.
