FORMER two-time world boxing champion Ricky 'Hitman' Hatton was the star attraction in a sports dinner held at the Vale Sports Arena.

Hatton who is two-time champion of the world, posed for photos with all the guests who enjoyed food, a Q&A, speeches, meet and greet, auctions and much more in a fun and enjoyable action packed evening.

Hatton also met junior members of the PG10 football academy providing words of inspiration.

The evening also welcomed Olympic and professional boxer Joe Cordina and Wales and Everton FC legend Neville Southall who does so much for Welsh children with PG10.

Peter Griffiths, director of PG10, said: "We are thrilled to help bring some of the biggest names in sport to the area, which we hope will inspire local people and children and enable them to take part in more sport related activities."

The next events are Glenn Hoddle on March 24; Harry Redknapp on April 21; Stan Collymore on May 12; Pele on June 2 and Paul 'Gazza' Gascoigne on November 11.
