THIS week in the Penarth Darts League, the Coronation B team continued their run of good form with another win 9 - 5 over the Three Horse Shoes.
Man-of-the-match was captain Paul Cox with a 124 out shot in the team leg to take three points.
At the Golden Lion, the home side also had a 9 - 5 win over the Ex’s B. Captain Steve Denman was man-of-the-match with a timely 117 out to win his singles 2 - 0.
At the Penarth Ex’s Club, the Ex’s Sparrows continue to dominate again this season taking a maximum 13 point win over the Coronation A team. Derek was man-of-the-match for the Coro taking his teams only point with 100 x8 in the singles.
High scorers for the Ex’s A were John Nowland who hit four tons and overs in his two legs of singles and Paul Wingren who went one better with six in his two legs of singles, Dai and Nathan hit 140s for the Coro, Sean hit 121.
