WITH excitement mounting for the arrival of Pele at the Vale Sports Arena on Friday, June 2, the Vale Sports Arena has launched a competition to ensure community legends are recognised for all their kindness and hard work which will enable people to attend the evening free of charge.
Members of the public can nominate someone from the community who they feel deserves the prize by emailing info@valesportsarena.cymru
The community legends could be a sports coach, nurse, doctor, fireman, postman or anyone else you feel is deserving.
The competition opens on March 9 and closes on March 31.
Winners will be announced on Twitter (@petegriffiths10) or on the website valesportsarena.cymru
Peter Griffiths, director of Vale Sports Arena, said: "This once in a lifetime opportunity to meet and be inspired by Pele will never be repeated in Wales again, I'm sure of that, we should all embrace the opportunity.
"The competition is a good way of celebrating the hard work and kindness of others in the local community.
"We look forward to receiving the nomination from the public."
