COGAN Coronation AFC mini and juniors committee members have congratulated and thanked all players, coaches, parents and sponsors for their continuous support in making it another successful, record breaking season with numbers rocketing along with seeing development of coaches and players.

More often than not, a coaches job is a thankless one. They are the ones blamed when a team loses a game but players are the ones who get all the attention when the team wins. The Committee would like to take this opportunity to highlight and Thank specifically the coaches.

A spokesman said: "If it weren't for their relentless motivation and tireless efforts to inspire and motivate all ability football players at the club, we would not have seen the club grow to the substantial numbers we are at now.

"I feel extremely humbled to have such a passionate and committed volunteers who I can never repay only by the continued gratitude of the parents whose children you coach."

This was the under 7s boys and girls first year playing football within the Vale of Glamorgan AFL mini section and they have come on so much in just the one year, according to their coaches.

The Under 7s Coaching team and Cogan Coronation AFC would like to thank Alex Hatherall of Pure Clean Environmental Limited for sponsoring this season's kit. They would also like to thank David and Richard Baker of David Baker & Company for sponsoring the coaches' clothing:

The committee would also like to congratulate the Under 16s who recently won the Vale Of Glamorgan AFL Junior League title.

This particular team over the past four seasons in the league have played 75 games winning 69, drawing four and losing two.

They have scored 426 goals and conceded 33.

The committee wish them good luck as they go into youth football next season.
