THOUSANDS of children recently took part in the Bristol Rovers Tournament last weekend including players from Penarth based PG10 Coaching who enjoyed a successful day in all its age groups

At under seven and under eight age groups games where played in a non competitive festival.

Playing up an age group in the under seven section the talented U6 side displayed breath taking football for children so young.

The under seven PG10 team packed full of talent ran riot all day winning all there games.

The under eight PG10 A side enjoyed a wonderful day with the side winning all there games scoring some breath taking goals.

Under eight PG10 B also produced impressive displays playing good passing football.

The competitive tournament started at under nine level playing over nine games the incredible PG10 under team marched into the final.

Ioan scoring the opening goal before Noah stepped up with a David Beckham type goal winning the competition to add to the under nine growing list of achievements after winning already this season the Manchester Cup and Newport Exiles Cup. Noah goal was so impressive the footage has already been featured on national TV even on the BBC Breakfast News last Sunday.

The PG10 A Under 10 displayed so much skill throughout the day marching into the semi final PG10 B also had a impressive day scoring some wonderful goals and reaching the quarter final

The Under 11 two teams despite having a few players missing played some attractive football playing they also reached the semi final. in the U12 section of the competition PG10 U12 carried on there impressive season after winning the U12 section of the Junior Premier League by winning the Newport FC tournament at U12 level by being undefeated all day at the Bristol Rovers Tournament

Finally the U14 with mainly U13 players produced some good displays against the older more physical sides

Head of football Peter Griffiths said: "I would like to commend Bristol Rovers on a fantastic weekend of football,

"The PG10 kids loved the tournament and we are thrilled to win so many age groups with so much talent on show.

"We are also thrilled the national media are also highlighting the talent at the academy with Noah wonder goal being featured on UK national news channels.

"We now look forward throughout the summer to a number of tournaments with Premier League clubs and even at the English FA headquarters "St George Park" as well as international tournaments showing the opportunities we provide are unique and inspiring.

He added: "It is important to mention how dedicated the kids are training many times a week as well conditioning sessions gym sessions and much more this in turn means a more healthy child.

"We are the only football provision that trains and plays for 12 months of the year ensuring we provide more and more training and game opportunities but also unforgettable experiences through football."
