PENARTH Sea Angling Club have held their annual holiday week fishing competition on Sunday, July 30.
This year's competition was in aid of Penarth RNLI and raised a total of £650.
The turnout for the event was high, with 86 anglers competing for the top prize, which saw a wide range of fish caught.
R Christo won the event with his catches of a conger eel and a smooth hound weighing in at 12lb, 9oz. John Cooper's conger eel and rockling were enough to take second place with a combined weight of 7lb, 5oz, while Robert Evans' mullet was measured at 5lb, 5oz for third.
