A LOCAL 13-year-old girl is hoping to find sponsorship train and compete and have a strong career in ice skating.

Chelsea Burgoyne-George, who attends Stanwell School, has been skating for nearly three years after she entered a competition 'Skating Stars' and won and has now fallen in love with the sport.

She trains four to five days a week, morning and evenings, being on the ice for 6am before school and back in the evenings,

Chelsea competes in competitions all over Britain with recently competing in Lee Valley and coming 4th place out of 24 skaters and gained her personal best allowing her to claim her level 2 free over the next few months.

She has events in Guildford, Coventry, Deeside, Streatham, Lee Valley and Sheffield towards the end of the year.

Chelsea is looking for sponsorship to help with costs with training, lessons, skates, blades, dresses, competition fees, travel and hotels.
