Michael Jackson's Thriller is the most influential music video of all time, a survey said.

The late star's hammy horror hit tops A-ha's cartoon comic love story for Take On Me and Bjork's robotic romp All Is Full Of Love, which are in second and third places respectively in www.muzu.tv's online poll.

The poll coincides with the 50th anniversary of the music video, when the term was first coined by American radio DJ JP "The Big Bopper" Richardson.

The oldest music video in the top 10 is from 1979, ironically for The Buggles' No 1 single Video Killed The Radio Star.

There were also top 10 placings for the White Stripes, OK Go, Peter Gabriel, Beyonce, Janet Jackson and Madonna.
