BARRETT Paul 'Legs' It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Paul 'Legs' Barrett on Sunday 20th January 2019. He was 78 years young. Much missed by his wife Lorraine, daughter Shelley, son Lincoln and their partners Liam and Steffi. He was a proud Grandad to Esme, Clementine and Maude. The Rock 'n' Roll world has lost a legend. Funeral Tuesday 5th February 2019 at 3pm at the Wenallt Chapel, Thornhill, Cardiff. No flowers please, but donations are welcome for Cats Protection. I had the pleasure of knowing "Legs" from the early sixty s and the good old days of the skiffle group. I have spoken to Paul on a weekly basis for the past five years, because we shared similar interests.Totally respected in the world of Rock and Roll, and by the number of friends we shared. You helped me on a weekly basis and were always charitable with your vast knowledge on music and records, and never made me feel a novice. I was shocked and very saddened, as were many of our friends, but be assured you will live on in our hearts. I feel grateful for the hours, and jokes we shared.

Most people have a 50/50 share of for's and against" s comments, but I can honestly say I have never heard one person in over 50 years, ever say a bad word about you. What a life and record. Positively " ONE OF THE GOOD GUYS "
