BIRCH Janice Passed away peacefully in her sleep, 29th January aged 84. Teacher at St Cyres and Glyn Hafren and a long time school Governor, former Town Mayor and a long standing Town and Vale Councillor and Oxfam Activist. Beloved wife of the late John, mother of Rhiannon, Michael, Rachel and Hannah, grandmother of 9, great grandmother of 3. Funeral to be held on Wednesday February 12th, Private Committal followed by a celebration of her life at the Paget Rooms, Penarth at 3.00pm. No flowers please by request, donations to Oxfam or UNICEF maybe received on the day.
