I'm so shocked and saddened to hear of Meryls passing. It still doesn't seem real. Meryl will never be forgotten, she was always so bubbly and smiling. Sending lots of love to her son James who was her life xx

To my teenage friend, many memories of your warmth bravery and beauty, you had a special familiarity that drew people to you. Thank you for the precious memories we shared of times well lived. I am sure your Son has all of the best and generous parts of you.

I was so shocked and upset finding out about Meryl, my old friend. A few years ago we were going to meet up and it just didn’t happen, which I greatly regret. We have so many memories from about 4 years old, from Crusaders, holidays, up to too many teenage antics to go into. At the age of 20, we spent 6 months in Spain and Portugal together but then life kicked in and we drifted apart. So many laughs we had. My sincere condolences to all the family, especially James, who I could tell, Meryl was so proud of. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Alison
