LUSH Dennis John M.B.E. Dennis passed away peacefully at Llandough Hospital on December 18th, 2020 aged 98. Darling and most loving husband of Ann. Devoted father to Denzil and Christopher and daughter- in- law Catherine, adored stepdad of Stephen and Victoria. A wonderful and loving "Lobby" to all his grandchildren and their families. He was a very well loved and respected member of the Community, his work for the Parish of Penarth and Llandough coupled with his incredible fundraising for The Children's Society, was inspiring. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Currently resting at James Summers Funeral Home in Penarth. Private family funeral at Holy Nativity Church, Penarth on Thursday January 21st, at 13.45pm, and afterwards at the Vale Crematorium at 3pm. Family flowers only, but donations in lieu of flowers may be made to The Children's Society (Mrs Sue Bailey (Treasurer) 9 Dingle Road, Penarth) of which Dennis was an Honorary Vice President, an honour of which he was very proud. Memorial service to be held when conditions allow, to celebrate the wonderful "Gentleman" that Dennis was, and the many lives that he touched.
