WEBSTER Patrick Patrick passed away very peacefully on April 28th, 2021 at the age of 93, having lived a full and extraordinary life. He and his wife Betty married in 1955, theirs is a story of enduring love, family and community. He described his 6 children, 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as the greatest achievement of his long life. From his 40 years as Secretary of Penarth Rowing Club to his long service to the law, as a Barrister, Crown Court Recorder and finally Industrial Tribunal Chairman where he served for 24 years, he touched many people and their communities. The family are very grateful for the many messages of love and appreciation they've received. Resting at James Summers Funeralcare, Lavernock Road, Penarth CF64 5UP until the funeral at St. Joseph's church Penarth on Wednesday 19th, which sadly due to COVID restrictions will be family and close friends only. Penarth Rowing Club was a huge part of Patrick's life. In honour of this the funeral cortege will drive past Penarth Rowing Club at 12:30pm, where an Honour Guard of members past and present will pay tribute in front of the boat that bears his name. All are welcome. Family flowers only please. One of his final wishes was that donations be made in his memory to Marie Curie. There is a Just Giving page in his name that can be found at www.justgiving.org, "Patrick Webster In Memoriam".
