TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (GENERAL PERMITTED DEVELOPMENT) ORDER 1995

DIRECTION MADE UNDER ARTICLE 4(2)

WHEREAS the Vale of Glamorgan Council being the appropriate local planning authority within the meaning of article 4(6) of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 ("GDPO"), are satisfied that it is expedient that development of the description set out in Schedule 1 below should not be carried out on the property known as Greenfield, East Street, Llantwit Major, CF61 1XY and shown edged red on the attached plan ("the Land'), unless planning permission is granted on an application made under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 as amended.

NOW THEREFORE the said Council in pursuance of the power conferred on them by article 4(2) of the GDPO hereby direct that the permission granted by Article 3 of the said Order shall not apply to development of the description(s) set out in Schedule 1 on the Land.

THIS DIRECTION is made under Article 4(2) of the GDPO and, in accordance with Article 6(7), shall remain in force until 19 July 2021 (being 6 months from the date of this Direction) and shall expire then unless it has been confirmed by the Council.

Objections to this Direction together with the grounds on which they are made must be sent in writing to Peter Thomas, Senior Planner (Conservation and Design), Vale of Glamorgan Council, Docks Office, Subway Road, Barry, CF63 4RT or submitted by e-mail to planning®

SCHEDULE 1

1. Schedule 2 - Part 2 - Class A



The erection, construction, maintenance, improvement or alteration of a gate, wall, fence or other means of enclosure that fronts on to a relevant location being development comprised within Class A of Part 2 of Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 and not being development comprised within any other Class;

2. Schedule 2 - Part 31 - Class B



Any building operation consisting of the demolition of the whole or any part of the whole of any gate, fence, wall or other means of enclosure being development comprised within Class B of Part 31 of Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 not being development comprised within any other Class.

NAWR FELLY, mae'r Cyngor yn unol a'r pwerau a roddwyd iddo dan Erthygl 4(2) y Gorchymyn drwy hyn yn gorchymyn na fydd y caniatad a roddwyd dan Erthygl 3 y Gorchymyn yn berthnasol i ddatblygiad ar y Tir sy'n unol a'r disgrifiad a nodir yn yr Atodlen isod.

GWNEIR CYFARWYDDYD HWN o dan Erthygl 4(2) y Gorchymyn ac, yn unol ag Erthygl 6(7), bydd yn parhau mewn grym tan 19 Gorffennaf 2021 (sef 6 mis wedi dyddiad y Cyfarwyddyd hwn) a bydd yn dod i ben bryd hynny oni bai y caiff ei gadarnhau gan y Cyngor.
