Mae Gweinidogion Cymru wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 247 o Ddeddf Cynllunio Gwlad a Thref 1990 ("Deddf 1990") i awdurdodi cau'r darn o briffordd a ddisgrifir yn Atodlen 1 i'r Hysbysiad hwn. Nid awdurdodir cau'r briffordd ond er mwyn gwneud y datblygiad yn unol a"r caniatSd cynllunio a roddwyd o dan Ran 3 o Ddeddf 1990 gan Gyngor Dinas Casnewydd ar 29 Mawrth 2018 o dan y cyfeirnod 17/1111 ac a ddisgrifir yn Atodlen 2 i'r Hysbysiad hwn.

Bydd Gorchymyn Cau Priffyrdd (Tir wrth Gyffordd Chepstow Road a Livingstone Place, Maendy, Casnewydd) 2021 ("y Gorchymyn") yn peidio 3 chael effaith os daw'r caniatad cynllunio ar gyfer y datblygiad i ben neu os caiff ei ddirymu.
Gellir edrych ar goplau o'r Gorchymyn a'r plan a adneuwyd yn rhad ac am ddim yng Llyfrgell Maindee 79 Chepstow Road, Casnewydd, NP19 8BY neu gellir eu cael yn rhad ac am ddim o'r cyfeiriad isod gar ddyfynnu'r cyfeirnod qA1443494.
Caiff unrhyw berson a dramgwyddir gan y Gorchymyn, ar y sail:
a. nad yw o fewn pwerau Deddf 1990; neu

b. na chydymffurfiwyd ag un o ofynion gweithdrefnol Deddf 1990;

o fewn 6 wythnos i 24 Chwefror 2021, wneud cais i'r Uchel Lys at y diben hwnnw.

THE STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAYS (LAND AT THE JUNCTION OF CHEPSTOW ROAD AND LIVINGSTONE PLACE, MAINDEE, NEWPORT) ORDER 2021
The Welsh Ministers have made an Order under section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 ("the 1990 Act") to authorise the stopping up of the length of highway described in Schedule 1 to this Notice. The stopping up is authorised only in order to enable the development to be carried out in accordance with planning permission granted under Part 3 of the 1990 Act by Newport City Council on 29 March 2018 with reference number 17/1111 described in Schedule 2 to this Notice
The Stopping Up of Highways (Land At The Junction Of Chepstow Road And Livingstone Place, Maindee, Newport) Order 2021 ("the Order") ceases to have effect if planning permission in respect of the development expires or is revoked.
Copies of the Order and the deposited plan may be inspected free of charge at Maindee Library, 79 Chepstow Road, Newport, NP19 8BY or may be obtained free of charge from the address below quoting reference qA1443494.
If a person is aggrieved by the Order, on the grounds that:
a. it is not within the powers of the 1990 Act; or

b. a procedural requirement of the 1990 Act has not been complied with;

that person may, within 6 weeks of 24 February 2021 make an application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE 1
Length of highway to be stopped up (All measurements are approximate)
An irregular shaped length of highway located between Chepstow Road and Livingstone Place, Maindee, Newport having a total area of 55 square metres and shown as zebra hatching on the deposited plan.
SCHEDULE 2
The Development
Refurbishment of existing public convenience building including alterations to roof edge and change of use to A3 cafe and community space, erection of climbing wall, public sculpture and play equipment and modification to existing community garden and associated landscaping.
