THE VALE OF GLAMORGAN COUNCIL (PARK CRESCENT AND ROMILLY ROAD BARRY] (ROAD CLOSURE) (TEMPORARY) ORDER 2021

The Vale of Glamorgan Council In exercise of Its powers under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers intends in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the general effect of which is as described in the schedules below: -

SCHEDULE 1

The following Permanent Traffic Orders shall be suspended, In part, for the duration of this Temporary Traffic Order:

The County Council of South Glamorgan (Streets Off Park Crescent Barry) (One Way) Order 1991

Vale of Glamorgan Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement) Order 2013

SCHEDULE 2

No person shall cause or permit a motor vehicle to proceed in the locations specified in Schedule 3 below.

SCHEDULE 3 Location 1: Park Crescent Barry from its junction with Jenner Road to its junction with Porthkerry Road shall be closed to North Bound traffic

Location 2: Romilly Road Barry from its

junction with Porthkerry Road to its junction with Park Crescent shall be closed to North Bound traffic

Location 3 Kathleen Street, Bell Street, Vale Street Barry direction of One Way Traffic shall be reversed with no vehicular access permitted into Park Crescent.

Reason: To allow for Welsh Water main sewer works to be undertaken.

Duration: From 7.00am on Monday 19th July 2021 until 6.00pm on Friday 8th October 2021 or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.

Alt. Route: Local signed diversions will be in place.

NB: Pedestrian access will remain in



place at all times.

Hysbysir trwy hyn fod Cyngor Bro Morgannwg, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14 Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y'i diwygiwyd) a'r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, yn bwriadu, mewn dim llai na saith diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, gwneud Gorchymyn a fydd yn gorfodi'r hyn a ddisgrifir yn yr atodlenni isod:-

Caiff y Gorchmynion Traffig Parhaol canlynol eu hatal, yn rhannol, tra bydd y Gorchymyn Traffig Dros Dro hwn ar waith:

Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir De Morgannwg (Strydoedd Oddi Wrth Park Crescent, Y Barri (Un Ffordd) 1991

Gorchymyn Cyngor Bro Morgannwg (Gwahardd a Chyfyngu ar Fannau Aros a Llwytho a Mannau Parcio) (Gorfodi Sifil) 2013

ATODLEN 2

Ni fydd unrhyw berson yn gyrru neu'n gadael i gerbyd deithio yn y lleoliadau a nodir yn Atodlen 3 isod.

ATODLEN 3 Lleoliad 1: Bydd Park Crescent, Y Barri o'r

gyffordd a Jenner Road i'r gyffordd a Porthkerry Road ar gau i draffig sy'n teithio tua'r gogledd

Lleoliad 2: Bydd Romilly Road, Y Barri o'r

gyffordd a Porthkerry Road i'r gyffordd a Park Crescent ar gau i draffig sy'n teithio tua'r gogledd

Lleoliad 3 Kathleen Street, Bell Street, Vale Street, Y Barri - caiff cyfeiriad y System Unffordd i Draffig ei wrthdroi ac ni chaniateir i gerbydau deithio ar hyd Park Crescent.

Rheswm: Galluogi Dwr Cymru i wneud gwaith ar y brif garthffos.

Hyd: Rhwng 7.00am ddydd Llun 19



Gorffennaf 2021 a 6.00pm ddydd Gwener 8 Hydref 2021 neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf.
