VALE OF GLAMORGAN COUNCIL LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 SECTION 123(2A) Leisure facilities at Colcot Sports Centre, Colcot Road, Barry, CF62 8UJ

Notice is HERBY GIVEN that the Vale of Glamorgan Council intends to enter into a Lease of the above leisure facilities for a period of 5 years from 1st August 2022 to the Council's current Leisure Management Contractor.

A Plan identifying the land may be examined on the Council's website at

Copies of the Notice and Plan will also be located at Colcot Sports Centre.

Any objections to the intended disposals must be made in writing and addressed to: Operational Manager, Neighbourhood Services, Healthy Living and Performance, Alps Depot, Alps Quarry Road, Wenvoe, CF5 6AA or by email to

Explanatory Note: the proposed new lease is a replacement for an existing lease which has to be entered into for technical reasons. There will be no change of use of the leisure centre, which will continue to be open to the public.
