BRITAIN'S biggest burlesque spectacular comes to the New Theatre, Cardiff on Saturday, September 7, direct from the West End.

An Evening of Burlesque features a fresh cast of burlesque beauties and follows a hugely successful performance in Cardiff last year.

This all-new riotous romp into the bizarre world of burlesque and cutting-edge variety stars burlesque bombshells including The Folly Mixtures (a burlesque quartet), Ivy Paige (the evening’s compere) Coco Dubois (a Royal Central School of Speech and Drama-trained international burlesque star), Miss Ooh La Lou and Miss Felixy Splits (both Italia Conti trained all-singing, all-dancing West End stars), Bettsie Bon Bon (a law graduate, hip hop and street dance star!), Liberty Sweet (Royal Academy of Dance), Angie Sylvia (Broadway Dance Center), Chloe Hula Girl and Christian Lee (Winner of BBC1s The Slammer and described as a modern-day Tommy Cooper).

Themes featured include evocative Arabian Nights, fabulous fan dancing fantasies, foxy 40s WAF sirens, bubblegum blowing baseball babes and cheesecake pin-ups. Promising to be “all tease, no sleaze”, An Evening of Burlesque is a slick, witty, and delightfully choreographed cabaret spectacular full of glamour, mischief, magic and frivolity.

Due to the number of women in the audience who dress up for the occasion, this year the producers of the show have decided to award a prize to the best-dressed audience member!

Producer Michael Taylor say: “The show is an opportunity to forget all about your troubles for an evening and enjoy the thrills and spills of modern-day burlesque. Theatregoers completely immerse themselves in the evening’s entertainment and as a consequence the atmosphere is electric. We would like to reward the most glamorously dressed person with a prize they will treasure forever!”
