A POP-UP choir, which meets for an hour a week for three months of the year, will stage its end-of-year concert on Saturday, April 27.

Vale Voices, now in its ninth year, is a 60 -strong team of singers aged from 11 to 80 years.

Their All Saints Church Barry gig will take place at 6.30pm and will be in aid of church funds.

The show features music from the Messiah to Motown.

Special guests this year will be Vox in Frox an award-winning choir from Chew Magna.

The glamorous ladies of Vox have won prizes at many choral festivals including Cheltenham and Llangollen and together with Vale Voices the combined chorus of 70 singers will raise the roof with their joint rendition of the Hallelujah chorus.

Entry is £5 on the door, 16s and under are free.
