The first trailer for Man Down without the late Rik Mayall has been released.
Channel 4′s sitcom starring Greg Davies is returning for a second run, but this time there will be one notable absence – comedian Rik, who died last year, aged 56.
He had played Greg’s character’s father and main tormentor in the show’s successful first series.
But in the trailer, Greg’s character Dan is still getting just as much of a hard time, as his Aunt Nesta, played by Stephanie Cole, looks to be taking on a more prominent role by giving him plenty of hassle.
Series stars Roisin Conaty and Gwyneth Powell are also back again as Dan’s sister and mum for the new episodes, which see the lead character still struggling to find any enthusiasm for his teaching job.
An air date has not yet been announced for the second series.
