Boy George confessed that he didn’t want to scoop the Lifetime Achievement at the Ivor Novello Awards – but luckily he picked up the PRS Outstanding Contribution accolade instead.
The singer attended the 60th annual Ivor Novello Awards in London alongside Black Sabbath, Bob Geldof and Ed Sheeran.
George said: “At first I thought I was getting the Lifetime Achievement award and I was like ‘I’m not even that old!’ but it wasn’t so I was slightly relieved.”
