The David Attenborough-fronted Planet Earth II leads the way with nine nominations at the Bafta Craft Awards, which recognise behind-the-scenes talent.
The landmark BBC nature series is up for original music for its score, created by Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer, and also earned nods for editing and sound.
In the photography: factual category, it is the only programme to be recognised as four different episodes receive nominations.
The documentary series is closely followed by Netflix series The Crown, which chronicles the life of Queen Elizabeth II, with seven nominations and espionage thriller The Night Manager, which earned six.
The Crown is up for costume design, while its creator Peter Morgan is nominated in the drama writer category alongside Happy Valley’s Sally Wainwright, Damilola, Our Loved Boy’s Levi David Addai, and Men Behaving Badly writer Simon Nye for ITV series The Durrells.
In the comedy writer category, Phoebe Waller-Bridge is recognised for her groundbreaking series Fleabag, while Steve Coogan also earns a nod for Alan Partridge’s Scissored Isle. Also in the category are Camping writer Julia Davis and Stefan Golaszewski for BBC Two series Mum.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony on Sunday April 23.
