PENARTH Concert Club will welcome The Zoltan Ensemble to Elfed Avenue United Church, Penarth on Sunday, March 1.
Lowri Porter on violin, Nancy Johnson on viola and Roz Gladstone on cello will perform the Goldberg Variations by Bach – arranged for string trio by Dmitry Sitkovetsky.
Lowri Porter is currently the assistant leader with the Welsh National Opera, after nearly 10 years as principal first violin with the same orchestra.
Nancy Johnson is a graduate of The Juilliard School and the Manchester University/Royal Northern College of Music joint course.
Roz Gladstone is a freelance cellist who has played with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and the London Concert Orchestra to name a few.
The concert is at 3pm followed by tea and cake. Tickets cost £10 each and accompanying children go free.
