THE Cavatina Singers is holding their summer concert on Saturday, June 6, which will include a free cream tea.

The concert will be held at Albert Road Methodist Church, Penarth at 3.30pm.

It will include a performance of Bob Chicott`s "A Little Jazz Mass" for which the choir will be accompanied by a jazz trio from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Cavatina are delighted that the mighty Michael Lowe, the fantastic young baritone from Monmouth, will be joining them again for this concert. He will present a beautiful selection of songs by Vaughan Williams and then join the choir to sing the baritone solo in the hugely entertaining "Captain Noah and his Floating Zoo" by Flanders and Horovitz.

The concert promises to be a confection of musical delights followed by a delicious cream tea. Tickets, priced at £8, can be bought on the door, from Griffin Books (9A Windsor Road, Penarth) or from cavatinasingers.ticketsource.co.uk
