A GROUP of school friends are hosting a fundraising talent show at the Paget Rooms on Sunday July 21 as part of Penarth Summer Festival.
The Stanwell School girls will donate all proceeds to Welsh children’s cancer charity LATCH.
Last year they raised £950 with a similar event.
The two-and-a-half hour show – which is giving youngsters aged 12 to 18 the opportunity to show off their skills and talents - will start at 6.30pm.
A 30 minute interval will be held between 7.30 and 8pm with proceedings brought to a close around 9pm. Doors open at 6pm.
The friends are hoping to fill all 150 seats and are appealing for help and generosity from the public.
Tickets for the LATCH Show are available for £3. They can be bought on the door. Alternatively text 07816394991.
A raffle will be held with prizes donated by local businesses. Raffle tickets will be available on the night or by texting the same number. It is £1 a strip.
One of the organisers said: “A special thanks to Penarth Town Council for helping us over the last couple of months.”
