CHILDREN hospice Ty Hafan’s Crackerjackpot lottery has reached a massive £10,000 for the first time this year.
As the rollover prize has not been won for the past 19 weeks the fund now stands at £10,000 and could reach a maximum of £12,000 before it becomes a guaranteed prize.
By becoming a member of Crackerjackpot for £1 a week, supporters have the chance to win big prizes that could fund a dream holiday, a new car and or some home improvements.
John Mladenovic, Ty Hafan’s lottery general manger, said: “Winning £10,000 could make a real difference to someone’s life and we hope it will attract more local people to support us by playing the lottery.
“As well as being in with a chance of winning big cash prizes, every member of Crackerjackpot makes a real difference to hundreds of life-limited children, young people and their families from across Wales supported by Ty Hafan. Crackerjackpot provides a vital source of reliable income for Ty Hafan, raising around a third of the total amount needed every year.”
Back in 1998 the hospice began its own lottery and since that time it has paid out more than £1.5 million to lucky winners from all over Wales who have chosen to support Ty Hafan in this way.
The £10,000 draw will be made on April 22 and tickets can be bought from any of the 25 Ty Hafan shops across Wales or if you are a member online at www.lottery.tyhafan.org or by calling 02920 532253.
