THE Sixth Penarth Cub Scouts had a harvest theme last week, when games and quizzes were all moulded around foods and where they come from around the world. The cubs brought some gifts of food which will be forwarded to the food bank at Tabernacle Church, and talked about how people in other countries, apart from our own, for various reasons, need our help to be able to have something to eat. The cubs were pleased to ‘help others’ as part of their Promise.
The Group is thriving and to help the present leaders, we are looking for Adults to become leaders in all sections, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. Contact the Group Scout Leader, James at james.redford@btinternet.com.
