RECENTLY 11 members of Sully U3A's Knitters and Stitchers group spent a day at Wonderwool Wales held at the Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells.
It was the 10th Anniversary Show and three halls were filled with stands of fibres, equipment and finished products.
An enjoyable day was spent browsing the stalls and admiring the detail and workmanship in the production of the Giant Gingerbread House and the Giant Cardigan for Cardigan. They returned enthused with ideas and bags of wool and other fibres for future projects.
The Knitters and Stitchers is one of many groups in Sully U3A. New members are welcome to join at any of the monthly meetings held on the second Thursday of the month in The Old School, Sully at 2pm.
