THE Welsh Government’s Nest scheme is supporting Carers Week at their upcoming event on Thursday, June 11.
Held at Cardiff City Stadium, The Staying Well event was set up by the Vale and Cardiff councils and the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.
Free advice on healthy eating and staying active will be provided plus they will highlight the support available to carers.
Nest will be on hand to provide advice on saving energy and held to reduce the cost of energy bills.
In addition to advice, if you own or privately rent a home that is hard to heat and receive a means tested benefit, you may also be eligible for free home improvements from Nest. These may include a replacement boiler, central heating system or insulation.
