VALEWAYS, the organisation for countryside access and walking, was delighted to receive a £500 grant from theTesco Community Fund earlier this month to pay for waymarkers to mark walking routes.
Valeways volunteers will replace damaged or missing waymarkers along their published walks as part of their regular “walk and clear” sessions.
Thanks to the many customers who voted for Valeways to receive a share of Tesco's helping hand fund, manager Arran Rees made the presentation to volunteers Mike Edwards, Vale Warlow, Phil Gibbins and Brenda Gibbins.
