TOWN mayor Councillor Rosemary Cook made a special visit to a very unique woman on her 100th birthday at a party given in her honour by her family at the Kymin House.
Frances Hobbs, who turned 100 on Wednesday, July 15, was one of 6 girls and 4 boys.
She was a hairdresser by trade and married and had one son and now has five grandchildren and 12-great grandchildren.
Frances has lived through two World Wars and would have seen many changes throughout her life.
The staff and councillors at Penarth Town Council would like to wish Frances a very happy birthday.
