VOLUNTEERS and community councillors took part in a clean up of Llandough as part of the big clean up on September 26.
Some 15 bags of litter were collected including paper, bottles, cans, sweet and crisp packets as well as a variety of items including two car number plates.
Llandough Community Council organises litter picks twice a year and each time a large amount of litter is picked up.
Cllr Peter King, the marshal for the litter pick, said, "In just two hours the volunteers filled over 15 black bags which helps to make the village a lot tidier."
