THE Shelley Norton Stage School recently put on their production of The Little Mermaid, at the Paget Rooms, Penarth to acclaim from audiences.
The production, which starred Stanwell pupil Sophie Egerstrom as Ariel was a success with those in attendance, which included Vale Mayor Stuart Egan.
Shelley Norton said: "The young performers had a wonderful time and enjoyed being back at the Paget Rooms which is a great performance space for us.
"We were delighted to welcome Councillor Stuart Egan, Mayor of the Vale of Glamorgan Council and his consort Nigel Gibbs. They both enjoyed the show and congratulated all the talented young people who performed in the show."

The school also hosts week long summer schools throughout August.
