CREWS from Penarth RNLI were involved in a night time rescue last weekend.
They were called just after 9pm on Sunday (August 14) to a motor cruiser in difficulty near Sully Island.
The 23ft boat had one person on board and had encountered fuel problems.
Both Penarth lifeboats were launched and crews established an alongside tow.
They guided the boat into Cardiff Bay through the barrage, where it was met by Penarth coastguard officers.
