FOR a seventh year running Penarth restaurant The Fig Tree has been included in the Good Food Guide.
The guide reviews the best restaurants, pubs and cafes across the UK highlighting the best places to eat.
Located in a converted Victorian beach pavilion on the seafront, The Fig Tree will again appear in the 2016 edition.
The restaurant is run by Mike Caplan-Hill and his partner, Sandie Guppy.
Mr Caplan-Hill said: “We are thrilled to be included in the Good Food Guide 2016.
“This book is the definitive guide to where’s good to eat in the UK, and it pays testament to the hard work and creativity the whole team put into the Fig Tree.”
The Fig Tree is renowned for its cuisine and warm welcome, and for its special chef nights, wine nights, and, the twice yearly visits from renowned vegetarian chef David Tomlinson.
