SULLY U3A finished a successful year with a Christmas Social when chairman, Jean Bispham, welcomed more than 100 members who enjoyed festive food and drink served by the committee.
Ginny Golding had organised two quizzes and a raffle.
Surprise entertainment was provided by Gill Mathias who gave a monologue telling an alternative version of Cinderella which was very funny and enjoyed by everyone.
A happy and enjoyable afternoon finished with singing carols, accompanied by Rosemary Cook.
The next meeting will be on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at 2pm in The Old School, Sully, when new members are welcome.
