ALL Saints Church, Penarth, will be hosting special services across the Easter weekend.

Starting on Good Friday, April 14, will be a children's service at 10am. This interactive service is for children and families to think about what Jesus did at Easter.

The service will be followed by hot cross bun and Easter chocolate treats.

Later on from noon to 1.30pm, will be People of the Passion - a series of meditations through the eyes of those who were there and witnessed Jesus' last hours.

Music will be led by the worship team.

Then from 1.30pm to 3pm will be The Passion. The Passion of Jesus according to St John's Gospel - a traditional retelling of the suffering endured by Jesus in the final days of his life ending with is crucifixion. Music led by the choir.

On Easter Eve, Saturday, April 15, will be a Service of Light and Sound at 7pm. The Easter celebrations break out as night falls. A service suitable for all ages, beginning quietly in darkness but ending in joyful light and noise as the church greet the risen Christ.

On Easter Day, Sunday, April 16, will be the Holy Eucharist at 8am. Easter Day quiet and traditional service of Holy Communion with no music.

Then at 10am there will be an Easter Day Celebration.

This Easter Day Family Service with worship is suitable for all ages including Holy Communion. Join All Saints as they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and the hope that Easter brings.
