A MAN and a girl were rescued from the roof of a Penarth house last night after a fire broke out.
Fire crews from Penarth and Barry were called to the two storey house on Westbourne Road at 8.30pm on Wednesday (November 15).
The fire is believed to have started in the ground floor conservatory and the house was described as heavily smoke logged.
The man and girl and a woman were taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff having suffered smoke inhalation.
