DINAS Powis Rotary club have met with the governor of the South Wales based District 1150, Margaret Hughes, to discuss Rotary's upcoming goals for 2018.

In a meeting at the Humble Onion in Dinas Powys on Thursday, January 25, Ms Hughes outlined the goals for Rotary International, Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland (RIBI) and District 1150 for the year, and the challenge of meeting both international and community objectives. In supporting these goals, she announced that that District will provide leadership, encouragement and support to Rotarians to advance individual engagement in community, club, district and internationally.

Governor Hughes complimented the club on an outstanding year of service to the community, making special note of the club’s recent growth in membership. She closed by congratulating the club on its 30th anniversary and set the challenge of greater integration with local businesses to help build on its outstanding year of service to the community.
