SCHOOLS in Penarth, Dinas Powys and Sully have received their latest school categorisation bandings.
The bandings released on Thursday (February 1) place schools through a traffic light system into one of four colour coded support categories.
Introduced in 2014, the National School Categorisation System places schools as green, yellow, amber or red based on the support they need.
The rating system applies to secondary schools and primary schools.
In terms of secondary schools, Stanwell School was placed in green and St Cyres School in yellow.
Albert Primary, Cogan Primary, Sully Primary, Victoria Primary, Evenlode Primary, Ysgol Pen y Garth, Dinas Powys Primary, St Andrew's Major Church in Wales Primary and St Joseph's Primary School were placed in a green banding
Fairfield Primary and Llandough Primary received yellow bandings with no schools in the area placed in amber or red.
