POPULAR local author Cathy Farr has delivered an inspirational talk to children from Albert Primary School with the help of her trusted friend and inspiration, Mojo the Irish wolfhound.
Ms Farr visited the school on Tuesday, March 6, to discuss two of the books from her popular ‘Fellhounds’ series, ‘Moon Chase’ and ‘Moon Crossing’.
During the visit, she discussed some of the key features of creative story writing, before taking time to speak with students and giving them the chance to meet Mojo up close.
Ms Farr also signed a number of copies of her books, which will now be displayed in the school library.
One year six pupil said after the visit: “I enjoyed Cathy Farr’s presentation because she expressed her story and interest in writing with passion that has truly inspired me.”
