GRIFFIN Books are set to host a 'Dementia Connections' event at All Saints Church, Penarth on Tuesday, March 13.
The event, which begins at 11am, will see dementia nurse Jane Mullins and local resident Liz Webb-Hooper, who cared for her late father with dementia for many years, sharing their experiences of supporting those living with the condition.
Entrance is £3, including refreshments, and tickets can be purchased either on the door or in advance from Griffin Books on 02920 706455. Half the proceeds from the event will be donated to DEEP (Dementia Engagement and Empowerment Project).
