Following the success of last year’s Music and Food Festival at Penarth Lawn Tennis Club, organisers will once again be running the event again this year - on May 26.

Last year, crowds flocked to the event to enjoy the weather and experienced a variety of music from local bands, along with food provided by local street-food companies.

This year the event will be run on a similar basis with some changes to both the bands and the food vendors.

This year, the Beatles For Sale, one of the UK’s most authentic sounding Beatles tribute bands, will be one of the event’s headliners.

They will be followed by Lost In Chemistry, a band from South Wales and a variety of other acts.

On the food front, there will be something for everyone. Mexican food specialist The Bearded Taco will supply a range of tasty tacos, pizzas will be provided by Flour’d Up and artisan burgers from Bwydiful.

Vegetarian options will be available from all three food vendors.

Alcohol and soft drinks will be provided at the two tennis club bars, one situated in the clubhouse and one an external bar.

Tickets for the event are £3 and are available from: bit.ly/pltcfestival18 (children under five are free).

Tickets are also available in the clubhouse.
