Here is the line-up of events for Penarth Literary Festival:
- One Woman Walks Wales
Ursula Martin walked 3700 miles around Wales following a cancer diagnosis. In this event, she talks about her book and her journey.
Where: Waterloo Tea at 7.30pm on July 6. Tickets are £5.
- Meet the Author
Take the chance to chat with local authors Evonne Wareham and Laura Kemp about their books..
Where: Griffin Books on July 7 at 10.30am.
- Welsh poets
This event will see two local authors - Gareth Thomas and Phil Carradice - discuss two famous figures from Welsh literary history – Iolo Morganwg and Hedd Wyn.
Where: All Saints Church on July 7 at 3pm. Tickets are £5.
- Down the Road and Round the Bend with Roy Noble
In this event, radio and television presenter Roy Noble will talk about and read from his new book.
Where: All Saints Church on July 7 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5.
- Children’s Elmer workshop
Join Shelley Norton of Talent Shack for this bilingual Elmer workshop for children ages 2-7.
Where: Westbourne School on July 8 at 11am. Tickets are £3 per child. Adults go free.
- Ten Million Stars Are Burning with John Osmond
In this event, John will be interviewed by Jon Gower about his book.
Where: All Saints Church on July 8 at 2pm. Tickets are £5.
- One Hundred Years of Kyffin Williams
Rian Evans will discuss her new book Kyffin Williams: The Light and the Dark with Jon Gower.
Where: All Saints Church on July 8 at 4pm. Tickets are £5.
- Poetry Showcase
Stephen Payne, Philip Gross, Fiona Moore, Helena Nelson and Kevin Brennan discuss their work.
Where: Waterloo Tea on July 8 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5.
