AM Vaughan Gething joined veterans, serving personnel and others to race against the clock on an exercise bike to mark the Remembrance period in Wales.
Mr Gething was also joined by the Wales area manager of The Royal British Legion and other AMs in this exercise which also aimed to commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War.
The bike ride was held in the Welsh Assembly’s Senedd building and Mr Gething represented his constituency by cycling as far as possible within five minutes.
The bike ride was organised by The Royal British Legion in Wales and builds on the bike ride held in the National Assembly in 2017.
The bikes were donated by Pure Gym Cardiff with more than 40 people taking part overall.
Mr Gething said: “I would like to thank the Royal British Legion for organising the charity bike ride. The Royal British Legion provides a vital role in Remembrance as well as supporting the Armed Forces Community. I enjoyed taking part in my third poppy ride; I am pleased to have been able to support such a worthy cause."
